I'm Stephanie

I am an undergraduate student currently at Loyola University Chicago's 5-year program pursuing a Bachelor’s in Advertising/Public Relations with a Master’s in Global Strategic Communication. Additionally, I am pursuing a minor in Polish Studies, and find myself particularly interested in a career in International Advertising and/or Public Relations. I am passionate about learning how businesses and organizations have the ability to make a positive social impact from country to country. I love learning more about the cultures I encounter, whether that be in exploring new dishes or meeting people who have great pride in their roots, just as I do for mine.

In order to grow as a culturally aware person, I feel called to bring people together through food, music, travel - concretely finding similarities, and appreciating differences between peoples, cultures, and lifestyles. Growing up in the Chicagoland area made me grow accustomed to - and now long for - a diverse environment around me. Assisting in the restaurant industry as a hostess let me serve up to 100 different parties per evening. Working as an office administrator at a Polish-American summer camp allowed me to engage and strengthen my communication skills, particularly in the Polish language. There I also exercised maintaining structure and organizing activities. Thanks to these experiences, I identified many cultures, and lifestyles through the positions I held.

My newest passion project (currently in the works) is a lifestyle blog that targets the theme of culture and heritage exactly. On my platform I expand on my interests - music, art, travel, and Chicago/Chicagoland food and drink. I plan to use this outlet to broaden my knowledge of the Chicagoland area I grew up in to understand what truly brings people together.

I consider myself a 'forever student' - happy to apply the experiences and skills I’ve obtained throughout my life and career to an interesting project, particularly one that involves creative problem solving and innovative thinking.

Have a look at all I’ve worked on, and let me know if you have any questions! I'd love to be in contact with you!
